Our emphasis is on creating developmentally appropriate products that will encourage your child to lead themselves wherever they need to go, while making it easy for you! Not only do we want to encourage learning through play; we hope that our Idea Boxes help play a part in making long-lasting, feel-good memories for you and your children.
Of course, we cannot say enough about the secretly educational benefits of our Idea Boxes, but that is for us grown-ups to worry about. The only thing your child needs to worry about is doing what they do best...playing!

Company History
The first Idea Box was made in 2000, for use with our own children. The Idea Box Kids opened in 2011, and quickly grew to include the variety of Idea Boxes you see on our site.
